Since we first learned of COVID-19 as an emerging public health issue, CDSSAB has been diligently monitoring the developing situation to protect the health and well-being of all employees, service providers, and clients. Given the latest announcement from Premier Doug Ford on the closure of schools, we are taking further action.

The people we serve are our top priority. As of March 16, 2020, all EarlyON Child & Family Centres will reopen Tuesday October 13, 2020.

We recognize the significant impact this decision will have on service providers, children, families, as well as the broader community, but this precaution is necessary to keep people safe.

Starting April 6, 2020, EarlyON Child & Family Centres across the district of Cochrane will be offering Virtual Programming for families with children 0 to 6 years of age. You can bookmark our EarlyON Cochrane District website cochranedistrict.earlyoncdssab.com to access programing from all our our main centres. This includes Moosonee, Hearst, Kapuskasing, Cochrane, Iroquois Falls and our three in Timmins. This is a great opportunity to meet EarlyON staff from our other centres across the district. They all provide their own unique programming.
