Timmins 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

An exciting new early literacy program is now available at both Timmins Public Library branches and the three Timmins EarlyON centres.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten is a free, self-paced program that encourages local families and caregivers to read 1000 books with their young children before they enter kindergarten. The concept is simple...the rewards are priceless! Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler.
